Current Volunteer Opportunities

FCPL will not be accepting volunteer requests until we have reassessed concerns related to safety and sustainability of the program in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you

  • Circulation: Filling Holds: Find and process books and other materials to fulfill holds.
  • Circulation: Processing and Holds Shelving: Sort, check in and shelve books on hold for library customers.
  • Circulation: Shelving: Re-shelve items returned to the library and other tasks requested by supervisors.
  • Computer Help: Help bridge the digital divide by providing one-on-one assistance on basic computer and internet use, and word processing.
  • Homework Help: Work with school age children after school and possibly on the weekends answering homework help questions. Check your branch library for availability.
  • Program Assistance: Help staff prepare and present programs for library customers.
