Join us for the Farewell to Manzanar Program Series from August 11 thru September 23. Featuring the book Farewell to Manzanar by Jeanne Wakatsuki Houston, these programs and activities are designed to promote discussions of democracy and what it means, as well as explore and celebrate Japanese culture. Our goal is to stimulate thoughtful reflection and lively discussion among friends and neighbors, families and strangers about the past, present and future of democracy and promote cultural understanding. Read the book. Attend a program. Join the discussion. Share your voice.
