Through the Speakers Bureau and other activities, we hope to increase awareness of how Library services can enrich the lives of all community members. Topics currently offered include:
| Library Services for Children | Library Services for Teens |
| Services for the Disabled | Getting the Most Out of Reference Services |
| Tracing Your Genealogy Roots | Fresno County and Central Valley History |
| Native American Collections | Services to Non-English Speakers |
| The Library Today and Tomorrow | Community Involvement and Leadership |
| Homework Help on the Internet | Raising Readers |
| Leaving a Legacy | Career and Job Resources |
| Adult Literacy | Access to Government Information |
| Libraries Without Walls: Electronic Resources | Improving Library Buildings |
Customized presentations and tours of library sites can also be developed to meet your needs. Presentations can be given at your group's regular meeting location, or hosted at one of our libraries with a meeting room. Each location has a different maximum occupancy.
The Library is committed to building strong connections with other organizations also working to enhance the quality of life in Fresno County. If your group or organization is interested in scheduling a presentation, please contact our Public Information Office at 488-1922 or submit a Speaker Request Form.
