Citizens Review Panel

Purpose

The Citizens Review Panel was created by the Board of Supervisors in 1999 to advise the Board on the uses made by the Fresno County Public Library of the Measure B sales tax revenue. The Panel ensures that the detailed uses made of the revenues are in accordance with the expenditure plan approved by voters.

Panel Members

Eleven members serve on the Citizens Review Panel. All members serve as volunteers without compensation. Each Supervisor nominates two Panel members, and one Panel member serves at large. The Panel makes an advisory report to the Board at least once each year.

There are currently five vacancies. Interested individuals should contact the library for an application form.

 

Meetings

The Panel meets as frequently as necessary to conduct its business, but no less than once per year.
