Computer Classes
Registration begins about a month before the new class schedule begins. Pre-registration is required for all classes. Each class is a one day session. For all Central Library classes, call the Reader’s Services Department at (559) 488-3195 opt. 3, # 3 or register in person while you are in the library. For classes held at other branches, register at those libraries.
These classes are in high demand and space is limited. If you are not able to attend a class you have registered for, please call as soon as possible so the spot may be filled.
A sign language interpreter can be requested at least two weeks in advance of any computer class by phoning 488-1898. A cassette copy of this schedule may be obtained by phoning 488-3217.

Central Library Computer Lab Hours:
The Central Library's Computer Lab is available for public use weekday
afternoons and weekends when classes are not in session.
Monday - Thursday : 12 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Friday : 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday : 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sunday : 1 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Parking at the Central Library : Library parking is limited during the week (Monday through Saturday) to one hour. This limit is strictly enforced until 6 p.m. daily. Two-hour street parking (Monday through Friday) (4 hours on Saturday) is available on meters surrounding the Central Library. There are also 10-hour meters in the lot directly across from the Library’s front entrance facing Mariposa Street, right behind the historic water tower. Library lot parking time is unlimited on Sundays.
